Jo Anne Bacon, 77, of Kingston, died Monday, April 10, 2017 in Northwoods Care Center in Belvidere.
She was born on August 2, 1939 in Mt. Vernon, IL to Willis and Wilma Maxine (Daniels) Hicks. On November 16, 1957, she married Walter "Tub" Bacon in Anna, IL.
She is survived by her children, Kevin Bacon, Steven (Eileen) Bacon, David Bacon, Rebecca (Gary) Greer, Randy Bacon and Gerald Bacon; grandchildren, Jeremy (Rachel) Bacon, Andrew Sutfin, Andrea Greer, Diedra Greer, Jessica Bacon, Ben (Michelle) Bacon, and Daniel Bacon; great-grandchildren, Naomi Bacon, Wyatt Bacon and Ellie Bacon, Mackenzie Sutfin and Charlet Sutfin; brothers, Willis (Connie) Hicks and Glenn Lowery; five sisters, Betty Callanan, Rose Boswell, Hallie (Terry) Hatfield, Marilyn (Adrian) Griffiths, and Robin Lowery.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and three sisters, Wilma Trout, Donna Hicks, and Vickie Hicks.
Funeral services will be at 12:00 pm on Saturday, April 15, 2017 in Cooper-Quiram Chapel, 202 E. Main St., Genoa, IL with Reverend Randy McCoy officiating. Visitation will also be on Saturday, from 10:30 am until the time of the service, at the funeral home.
Burial in Mayfield Cemetery.
