Mr. Anton I. "Tony" Brandt, 87, of Linn, died Friday, February 2, 2007, at his home surrounded by his family. Tony was born January 26, 1920, the son of Ben J. and Anna Luecke Brandt, both deceased.

He was married June 18, 1947, to Betty Kremer, who survives at the home. He was a very respected farmer and an active member of St. George Church and the Western Catholic Union.

Survivors include: his wife Betty; seven children, Linda Brandt, SSND, Betty Peters (Ronnie), Shirley Adams (Randy), Donnie Brandt, Danny Brandt (Robin), all of Linn, and Diane (Jay) Armistead and Joanie Sadler, both of Jefferson City; 20 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; one sister, Helen Krieg; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

He was preceded in death by three brothers, George, Clem, and Ed Brandt.

Funeral Mass was held at 11 a.m. today, Monday, February 5, 2007, at St. George Church in Linn with Rev. Father I.C. Medina officiating. Interment was in St. George Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to St. George School or the Mid-Missouri Alzheimer's Assn.
