Born in McCausey Ridge, Menifee Co., KY, she relocated as a young woman to Middletown, OH, where she lived a life full of love, family, gardens, and quilts. As a lifelong child of God, she joins in Heaven her parents; Hillard and Bessie (Slusher) Gibbs; 3 husbands: Charles Adams, Wilbert Longworth, and Elbern Turner; and her brothers: Allen and Arley Gibbs. She leaves behind her children: Marla and Ed Mathis of Middletown, OH, Dennis and Sharon Longworth of Houston, TX, and Sally and Jerry Bernard of Stafford, VA, her brother: William (Harvey) Gibbs of Wabasha, MN; her grandchildren: Kyle Mathis, Shawn & Paul Graham, Steve & Rose Longworth, Mark & Kim Longworth, Alex Bernard, Nick Bernard, and Juliana Taylor; her great-grandchildren: Brandon, Nate, Becca, Max, Xavier, Zach, Leela, Kayla; and her assorted grandpets. Visitation will be held on Monday, April 4th, 5-8 pm and Funeral Service will be 11 am on Tuesday, April 5th, at Breitenbach Anderson Funeral Home.
