Alex Brehm Dies; Services Tuesday
Alex Brehm, who had been a resident of Hastings for nearly 75 years, died early Saturday at his home at 210 east Second street. He was born in Russia December 13, 1881, and came to this community when he was three years old.
Brehm operated a machine shop for a number of years. He was a member of the First Baptist Church.
Survivors are his wife Lillian; sons and a daughter, Clarence of Huron, S. D., Harold of Ferguson, Mo., Major Willis of Fort Rosecrans, San Diego, Calif., and Mrs. Walter Parker of Hastings, and nine grandchildren.
Services will be held Tuesday at 2 o'clock in the Brand Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Harry Cowles, pastor of the Baptist Church, officiating and burial will be in Parkview.
