Beloved aunt, enjoyed baking and Italian music
Domenica "Mimma" Accurso, 87, passed away on March 10, 2017.
She was born in Reggio Calabria, Italy, and moved to the U.S. in the 1950's, residing most of her life in Dongan Hills.
She worked as a licensed beautician, dressmaker, and a housekeeper at Carmel Richmond Nursing Home until her retirement 20 years ago. Her hobbies included baking, Italian music and TV.
Visitation is Sunday from 2 to 8 p.m. at Colonial Funeral Home. Mass is Monday at 11 a.m. at St. Ann's. Burial is at Moravian Cemetery.
She is survived by her nephews, and their wives, and great-nieces.
