Born August 9, 1955, in Spartanburg, SC, son of Juanita Hammett Bailey and the late William Earl Bailey.
Survived by his brothers, Thomas Bailey of Merced, CA, Richard Bailey of Spartanburg, Michael Bailey and Jeffrey Bailey, both of Boiling Springs; and a sister, Linda Bailey Higgins of Boiling Springs.
A memorial service was held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorials could be made to the Samuel D. Bailey Memorial Fund, P. O. Drawer 1530, Spartanburg, SC 29304.
