Toledo Blade Obituary published December 17, 2000 reads:
Spencer Stanley Kasprzak, 62 years, of Temperance, MI, died Friday, December 15, 2000, in the High Hope Care Home in Gregory, MI.
The son of Ted and Mary (DeWitt) Kasprzak, he was born June 27, 1938, in Toledo.
He had a love of antique Dodge cars and enjoyed spending time with his family traveling to Northern Michigan and to Texas.
He is survived by his loving sisters, Magdalene (William) Grosteffon of Temperance, Mary McAdams of Aransas Pass, TX; 10 nieces and nephews, 29 great nieces and nephews and 31 great-great nieces and nephews.
He will be sadly missed by special nieces, Leona (Charles) Vanderstelt, Billie (Lester) Smith and Patricia (Steve) Evers.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, and a sister.
Friends may call Monday from 2 til 8 p.m. in the Bedford Funeral Chapel, 83200 Lewis Ave., Temperance, MI where funeral services will be held Tuesday by the Rev. John Paschen Jr. Pastor of Shelton Park Baptist Church at 1 p.m., with Interment in Toledo Memorial Park.
