Betty Jo Brazell Kizer, 91, passed away peacefully on Thursday March 30, 2017.
Betty was born in Tolar and moved to Fort Worth in the mid-forties where she met and married Obie in 1948. They soon became busy parents. She worked full time for area hospitals and doctors’ offices while rearing two sons in White Settlement. She will be dearly missed.
Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Obie, who passed away in 1993.
Survivors: Sons, Don Kizer and wife, Shirley and Bobby Kizer and wife, Susan; grandchildren, Donna Porter, Paul Kizer and wife, Jaeci, Christy Kitchens and husband, Bryan, Jennifer Booth and husband, Chris; great-grandchildren, Julia Barrett, Lexi Pady, Emily Kizer, Addison Kizer, Melanie Porter and Chris Porter, Andrew Kitchens and Matthew Kitchens; two great-great-grandchildren; and sisters, Pauline Oakes of Stephenville and Donna Chapman of Comanche.
