She was the widow of Raymond Allen Smith, to whom she was married May 3, 1942 and who passed away on March 10, 1980. Survivors include her son, Curtis A. Smith (Joyce); daughters, Leslie E. Kaiser (Charles), M. Christine Gillespie (Bill), Melinda R. Prock, Karen L. Sarvich (Donnie), all of Indianapolis; brother, William E.
