Born Thursday, Oct. 26, 1950, in Luray, she was a daughter to the late Julius Rosser and Iva Bradley Rosser.
She worked as a substitute teacher in the public schools and as an inspector for the Craddock & Terry Shoe Co. for several years.
She was a homemaker who enjoyed collecting dolls and ceramics and a member of the St. Peter's United Methodist Church of Shenandoah, Va.
Survivors include her husband of 31 years, Roger "Charlie" Lowery; two sons, Bobby Hudgins of Arvonia, Va., and Kenneth Hudgins of Henrietta; and two brothers, Doug Rosser and wife, Midge, of Shenandoah, and Tim Rosser of Luray. She is also survived by three grandchildren, Jacob Hudgins, Kenny Hudgins and Sarah Hudgins.
