Beverly June Bonham, 87, of Jacksonville, was received into heaven by her Lord on Thursday, March 30, 2017.

She was born in Detroit, Michigan November 30, 1929 to Annie Wooten Bennett and C.A. Bennett and was a member of McArthur Assembly of God in Jacksonville.

June, as she was known, graduated from Cabot High School and married the late L.G. Teague, Jr. She later attended Arkansas State College at Beebe, Arkansas.

Her love of music and especially the piano led her to teach music for several years in the El Paso, Arkansas schools.

She was an employment counselor for nearly 25 years and during that time opened Able Employment Agency.

In 1974 she married the late Larry D. Bonham.

She was active in local politics and was a member of the North Pulaski Republican Women.

She was preceded in death by her late husband’s, Larry D. Bonham and L. G. Teague, Jr; her sisters Reba Carol Bennett and Helen Sue Talbert; brother William Lamar Bennett; and half brother Allen Bennett; step-son Larry Bonham, Jr. and granddaughter Wendy Hall Snell.

June is survived by three children: Steve Teague (Vicky) Pam Hall (Billy) David (Lydia), her five step children, half brother Terry Bennett and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Special thanks to her long time caregiver Beverly Williams. Pallbearers are: Russell Teague, Chris Teague, Adam Teague, Chris Bynum, Jackson Teague and Brice Cagle. Honorary Pallbearer: Jackie Talbert.

Funeral services will be Sunday April 2, 2017, 2:00 p.m. at Moore’s Jacksonville Funeral Home, the family will receive friends at 1:00 until service time. Interment will follow in Sylvania Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to Sylvania Cemetery Endowment and to the North Pulaski Republican Women.
