Fred Wayne Wittman, 72, passed away on March 26, 2017 in Mesquite, NV. Fred was born on August 29, 1944 to Jake Henry Wittman and Pauline Wittig in Bazine, KS. He married Judith Huber on November 8, 1991 in Las Vegas, NV.

Fred was proud to have served his country in the United States Air Force for twenty-one years. After retiring, he worked at EG&G as a branch supervisor for seventeen years. In his free time, Fred liked to go camping and loved woodworking. He was a master at BBQ and enjoyed cooking in his kitchen. Fred loved practical jokes and everyone enjoyed his sense of humor and being around him. He loved his family and adored his granddaughter.

Fred is survived by his wife, Judith Wittman; son Bryan Wittman ( Joanne); granddaughter Lindsay Wittman; sister Helen Olmstead; and Bryan’s mother, Judi Wittman. Fred is preceded in death by his son Loren Wittman; six brothers and his parents.

Fred will be interred at the Southern Nevada Veteran’s National Cemetery in Boulder City, NV. Services will be a private ceremony.
