1999, at Ness County Long Term Care Center,
Ness City.
She was born Jan 18, 1906, at Otis, the
daughter of Peter and Mary Schneider Wittig.
A longtime Barton resident, moving to the
Ness County Long Term Care Center tn 1987,
she was a homemaker.
She belonged to St Paul Congregational
Church, Bazine.
In May 1929, she married Jacob Wtttman.
He died Sept 9,1957.
Survivors Include: three sons, Melvin,
Ness City, Allan, Baztne; Fred, Mesqutte,
Nevada; a daughter, Helen Obnstead, South
Cotton, NY.; a sister, Leah Schneidewind,
Ness City, 26 grandchildren; 44 great-
grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren
She was preceded in death by four sons,
Donald, Glenn, Jerry and Vernon.
Funeral will be at 1030 am Friday at St
Paul Congregational Church, Baztne, with
Pastor Jason Godsen presiding Burial will
be In the Baztne Cemetery. Memorials may
