Rev. Joseph Whanger, pastor of the Keithsburg Christian church, and Rev. Harold Andrews, of Alexis, will have charge of the funeral services Friday aftornoon at 2 o'clock at the Keithsburg Christian church. Burial will be in Greenmound cemetery.
Mr. Brown was born near Aledo in 1878. He was married Nov. 5, 1898 to the former Cora Campbell. Surviving are eight children, Walter of Millersburg, Floyd of Boulder, Colo., Everett of Bartonville, Lawrence of Morris, David of Peoria, Miss Marie Brown of Lincoln, Mrs. Gordon Jones of Muscatine, Ia., and Mrs. Ned Rederick of Keithsburg; three brothers, Earl, Louis and Clint, all of Keithsburg; three sisters, Mrs. Rose Kiesey of Washington, Ia., Mrs. Mina Knox of Viola, and Mrs. Fern Robbins of Keithsburg; 19 grandchildren, and 24 great-grandchildren.
