Catherine Ambrose, 89 year-old former resident of The Village, Oklahoma, passed away March 29, 2017 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Born April 21, 1927 in Glencoe, Oklahoma, she was the daughter of Harold Braswell and Ollie Belle Kincaid Braswell. Catherine was a homemaker and former ranch wife. She loved horses and helping her husband with the ranch work. She was an avid church person and attended Assembly of God Churches faithfully wherever she lived. Catherine was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Ray, 1 son, David Ray Ambrose; 3 brothers; and 2 sisters. Survivors include her daughter, Diane McKenzie and her husband, Allen of Yukon, Oklahoma; 5 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held at Hominy Cemetery just north of Hominy, Oklahoma at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 1, 2017 with burial following in Hominy, Oklahoma. .
