RENNIE — Passed away in the city on Sunday, April 3, 1977, following a lengthy illness, Mrs. Sarah Hartley O'Neill Rennie at the age of 90 years, of Edith Cavell Nursing Home, beloved wife of the late Mr. James C. Rennie.

Her life drew peacefully to a close in her ninety-first year.

Born in Wigtownshire, Scotland, one of a family of twelve, she came to Southern Alberta in 1907, where she lived most of her long life.

Married in Stavely, in 1911, she had resided in Stavely, Claresholm, Enchant, Bassano, Calgary, Taber, Lethbridge.

She was a life member of the Ladies Aid of the Knox Presbyterian Church in Bassano.

Predeceased by three children, Flora Johnson, Barbara and Robert, she is survived by three children, Mr. James Rennie of Whitecourt, Margaret Broadfoot of Taber, Ethel (Mayme) Dunn of Lethbridge; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Jamesina Griffin, of Vancouver, B.C.
