Ethel Adena "Dee" Fussell Grant Hill

Dee Hill, age 83, of Smithville, passed away Sunday morning, March 26, 2017 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville. She was born November 9, 1933 to her parents, the late Willis and Ruby Hudson Fussell. Dee worked many years at First American Title in Michigan and also worked at Ferodo in Smithville. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by step-son, Jeff Hill; 1 sister, Dorothy (Joseph) Kopacz; 1 sister in law, Betty Gora; 2 brothers in law, Clarence Ervin and Bob Culpeper. She is leaving behind her husband, Billy Joe Hill of Smithville; step-daughter, Tammy Hill; brother, Bud (Martha) Fussell of Dickson; sister, June Culpeper of Sterling Heights, MI; and many many nieces and nephews who all loved her so dearly; sister in law, Bobbye Pack of Smithville. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Wednesday at Dekalb Funeral Chapel with Bro. Joel Wood officiating and interment to follow at 3 PM at the Mt. Lebanon Church Cemetery in Dickson, TN, where she will be laid to rest beside her mother and father, Willis and Ruby Fussell. Visitation with the family will be Tuesday from 2 PM until 7 PM and Wednesday 10 AM until the time of service at 11 AM. In addition to flowers the family has asked that donations be made to the heart association or charity of your choice in memory of Mrs. Dee. DeKalb Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
