Phyllis Ann Hunter, 76 of Hernshaw passed away peacefully on March 26, 2017 at Hubbard Hospice House, Charleston.

She was a longtime member of Lens Creek Wesleyan Church where her passion was working with the children.

She was preceded in death by: Husband: James Harley Hunter and
Son: Mike Hunter.


She will be greatly missed by her:

Daughter and main caregiver: Debbie (Mike) Rosenbaum,

Son: Danny (Lisa) Hunter,

Grandchildren: Eric (Hope) Snead, Chad Snead, Emily (Tyler) Hudnall and Katie Hunter,

Great Grandsons: Cameron Chenault and Drew Snead,

She also leaves behind several brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews as well as countless friends.

The family would like to thank Dr. William Harris and the staffs of Marmet Health Care Center and Hubbard Hospice House for their loving care and support.

Funeral will be 2 p.m. Wednesday March 29, 2017 at Leonard Johnson Funeral Home, Marmet with Rev. Roger Gogus officiating. Burial will follow in Mitchell Cemetery, Left Hand Fork, Lens Creek. Friends may call 2 hours prior to the service at the Funeral Home.
