Earl J. Glover, Jr. “Boy”, age 76, passed away on Thursday, March 23, 2017. He was born on January 30, 1941 in Washington, PA to the late Earl and Bertha Glover.

He is survived by his loving wife of 22 years, Lynn; children, Michelle, Joseph, Toniann, John, Amy, Tammy, and Scott; grandchildren Jennifer, Sarah, Kristin, Daniel, Michelle, Cody, Alexes, James, Nicholas, Daralyn, Kaitlyn, and Courtney; many great-grandchildren; brother, Tim; lifelong friend, Mel; and his buddy, Buckeye.

Earl was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He spent more than 25 years coaching football for the Boys Club Dolphins, and was a lifetime member of the Boys Club Alliance. He enjoyed spending time at his camper, going fishing and golfing, and woodworking. He was an avid Ohio State Buckeye and LA Dodger fan.

The family will receive friends from 2-4p.m. and 6-8p.m. on Tuesday, March 28, 2017 at Newcomer Funeral Home, S.W., 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH 43123 and from 11a.m.-1p.m. on Wednesday, March 29, 2017. The funeral service will be held at 1p.m. prior to interment at Green Lawn Cemetery.

Donations in Earl’s memory may be made to the Westside Boys Club Alumni, 331 S. Brinker Ave., Columbus, OH 43204.

Friends and family are welcome to wear their Buckeye gear in honor of Earl at his service.
