Billy Joe Wagner passed away on March 25, 2017. He was one of 11 children born to Merle and Lela Wagner. He is survived by one son, Randall J. Wagner; grandchildren Randi, Forrest, and Tanner, stepson Claude, ex-wife Ramona Wagner, and by 4 siblings Norma, Donna, George, and Kenny. He is preceded in death by father and mother, Merle and Lela; by siblings Wayne, Wink, Virgil, Mable, Jenny, Wilma, and by daughter Tammie.

He enjoyed pheasant and quail hunting, fishing, building things, working with horses, and watching Jeopardy. He was a master craftsman with experience working in the oil field, construction, and carpentry. He was also a farrier. He was even picked to be the farrier for the Oklahoma State Fair.
He served in artillery in the Korean War and was honorably discharged from the army.

Funeral services are 2:00 p.m. Wednesday March 29, 2017 at Matthews Funeral Home Chapel, Edmond.
