Delores Irene Parker, 69, of Shanks, WV passed away on Friday March 24, 2017 at her home surrounded by her family while under the care of Hospice.
Born on July 17, 1947 in Romney, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Mamie (Simmons) Duncan.
She was a homemaker, loving mother and grandmother.
Delores was preceded in death by her husband, Michael D. Parker on February 26, 2017, also preceded by 2 sisters, Hazel Corbin, Mary McDermott and three brothers, Paul, June and Ed Duncan.
Surviving are three sons: David Parker of Romney, Daniel Parker of Winchester, VA, Michael W. Parker of Vulcan, Michigan, a daughter, Judy Compton of Beloit, Wisconsin; four sisters: Thelma Ludwick of Augusta, Betty Hutzell of Oldtown, MD, Sharon Pownell of Three Churches, WV, Dorothy Biller of Kirby, WV; five brothers: Gary Duncan of Keyser, WV, Jerry Duncan, Floyd Duncan John Duncan, Ronald Duncan all of Romney, six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Monday March 27, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. at McKee Funeral Home Chapel, 115 E. Birch Lane, Romney, WV with Pastor Jed Metzler officiating. Interment will follow in Ebenezer Cemetery, Romney, WV.
The family will receive friends on Monday from 1:00 P.M. until time of service at the funeral home.
All arrangements are being handled by McKee Funeral Home, Romney, WV
