Georgia was born March 24, 1943 in Pekin, Illinois, daughter of George and Beatrice (Rhoden) Epperson. She is survived by her children: Brent R. Wright of Conroe, TX, Jan M. (Greg) Scholes of Charleston, and Adrian (Heather) Wright of La Mirada, CA; seven grandchildren: Molly Scholes, John Scholes, Jr., Tad Wright, Blayne Wright, Orchid Bingham-Wright, Storm Wright, and Oden Wright; three great-grandchildren; two brothers: Ray Epperson and Tom Epperson; one sister: Karen Deremiah; her caregiver and dear friend: Eric Lanphier; as well as several nieces and nephews also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother: George Epperson, Jr.
Georgia was a member of First Baptist Church of Charleston. She was a 1961 graduate of Charleston High School. Georgia had worked at General Electric and Kraft Foods. She was a loving mother and grandmother, and a dear friend to many.
It was Georgia's wish that her body be cremated and no formal service be held. Inurnment of her ashes will be private. A celebration of her life will be held for family and friends at a later date. Memorials in her honor may be directed to Lincolnland Hospice. Arrangements: Harper-Swickard.
