Funeral services for Mr. Billy Wilburn Adcock 68, of Smithville, were held at the Chapel of Love-Cantrell Funeral Home at 1 p.m. on Saturday, January, 22,2000. Bro. Bradsford England officiated at the service, and burial followed at Burton-Ponder Cemetery.

Mr. Adcock died at Baptist Dekalb Hospital in Smithville on Thursday, Jan.20,2000. he was a member of Jefferson Presbyterian Church & was a farmer. He was preceded in death by his father, Newton Edgar Adcock

His survivors include his mother, Nannie Jones Adcock of Woodbury; his wife, Edith Parsley Adcock of Smithville; a daughter, Pat Barnes of Smithville; two sons, Mike Adcock of Lebanon and Jerry Adcock of McMinnville; four brothers, Ted Adcock of Hendersonville, Melvin Adcock of Smyrna, Robert Adcock of Triune and David Adcock of Portland; a sister, Jean Mason of Woodbury; six grandchildren and two step grandchildren.
Pallbearers for Mr. Adcock, were Adam Barnes, Ryan and Brent Adcock, Tony Mason and Lyndon and Ronald Ashburn.
Love-Cantrell Funeral Home of Smithville was in charge of the arrangements.
