Mrs. Nora Chechova Compton, age 97, passed away early Friday morning, March 17, 2017.
Mrs. Compton was born in Klamath Falls, Oregon in 1919 and grew up in San Francisco, California.
She lived most of her life in California until moving East with her son, Doug, grandson, David, and daughter-in-law, Sheila, whom she is survived by.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leslie B. Compton.
She lived a long happy life and died peacefully in her sleep at home in her own bed, which was her wish.
A family only memorial service will be held at a later date 3/22/2017
