John “Jack” Boyd Whitted, Jr.74, of Franklin Ave., Pine Rest East, died Thurs. Sept. 22, 1994, at his home.
He was born in Los Angeles, Oct. 24, 1919, the son of John Boyd and Fern Mae (Chipman) Whitted.
Mr. Whitted served 23 years on active duty with the USAF and was a veteran of WWII. He worked for traffic management at PAFB and two years in Guam.
Survivors include his wife, the former Helena Balogh, whom he married July 13, 1948; four daughters, Beverly Joan Powell and Janet (Arthur) Richards and Carol (Daniel) Livernois of Calif., Susan (Peter) Allen of Conn.; a brother-in-law, Dennis Stephenson of St. George, Utah; 15 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
