Wrightsville, Katherine Baker, 89, passed away March 19, 2017 at her home, with family by her side. She was the wife of the late Dale E. Baker Sr., to whom she was married for 54 years.
Born September 7, 1927 in Felton, she was the daughter of the late Howard Lorenzo and Anna Lavinna (Kilgore) Ness.
She was a member of Eastside Bible Church and a life-member of the . She enjoyed camping, traveling, and quality time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Katherine is survived by her daughter, Mary Ann Nusz of Wrightsville; her son, Dale E. Baker II of York; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her five brothers; and four sisters.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 23, 2017 at the Etzweiler Funeral Homes and Cremation Service, 700 Hellam Street, Wrightsville, with the Rev. Randy W. Pannebaker, officiating.
Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. A viewing will be held from 12:30 to 2 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to East Side Bible Church 1035 Adams Rd, Wrightsville, Pa 17368 or to the , 21 E. Keen Street, Kissimmee, FL 34744.
