She was a resident of the Somerset Assisted Living Facility.
Cassie was a retiree of the O.R. Department of Forsyth Medical Center.
She was a faithful and devoted member of Mars Hill Baptist Church where she attended Sunday School, a member of the Senior Class Number 2, as long as her health allowed she served as Secretary, and served on the Usher Board for many years until her health declined, she always wore her uniform and set with the ushers as long as her health allowed.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Ozella Horne.
