An American Politician. Foshee owned a cotton and peanut farm in Red Level. He served in the Alabama House of Representatives from 1966-1970 and was a Democrat. Foshee then served in the Alabama senate and retired in 1994. Foshee is survived by his loving wife; a daughter; two sons, a stepdaughter; a brother; and two sisters, He is also survived by seven loving grandchildren. He was a dedicated senator who worked hard to represent his constituents. After retiring from the Senate, he worked as a consultant in government relations. In addition, Foshee served two terms as a Trustee on the Board of the University of South Alabama. He never met a stranger, always had a smile on his face, and was polite, kind, and caring of everyone. He will be missed by his family and his many personal, business, and governmental friends.
