Our subject died at the home of her daughter Mrs. C.W. Butler at Steubenville, Ky. Wednesday afternoon July 4th after a brief illness.
She was the daughter of the late William and Nancy Owen, was born May 16, 1850, being 78 years of age. Was married to Must Jeff Cain, in 1866 and born to this union 9 children, 8 survive.

She had joined the Methodist Church at an early age, living a devoted Christian life until her death. Funeral services were conducted Friday morning at 10 o'clock at the Steubenville church by Rev. Eli Correll followed by burial in the Steubenville cemetery.
