On February 6, 1944 the Death Angel visited our home and claimed our dear mother, Rebecca Frances Dunagan.

She was born April 24, 1872, being 71 years, nine months and 13 days old.

She was united in marriage to James E. Dunagan, April 20, 1894. To this union two children were born. Ella F. Ramsey, Monticello, and Jas. E. Dunagan Jr., Mill Springs, Ky. Her husband preceded her in death 28 years ago. She is survived by two children, one sister, two brothers, and many relatives and friends to mourn her passing.

She professed faith in Christ at the age of 16 and joined the Locketts Chapel Methodist Church and since that time has lived a devoted Christian life.

We stood beside her bed and watched her pass away. We knew she was going home to her mansion in the sky. There had to be a separation from her prison house at Clay before her spirit could enter glory, forever, there to stay.
