Florence Marjorie Eichelberger, 88, of 7019 N. Galena Road, Peoria, formerly of Pekin, died Sunday, Oct. 20, 1996, at the Lutheran Home in Peoria.

Born Jan. 7, 1908, in Pekin to John Wesley and Mary Jane Sapp Foster, she married Alvin Eichelberger on April 18, 1950, in Pekin. He preceded her in death. One brother also preceded her in death.

Surviving are one daughter, Mary Ann Burdick Larson of Springfield.

She was a secretary for the U.S. government in Peoria, Washington, D.C., and Chicago for nine years. She then was a secretary for the American Red Cross for 20 years in Peoria and Pekin.

Burial will be in Glendale Memorial Gardens.
