Jimmy E. "Jim" Curtis, age 67, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, March 16, 2017.

Members of his family were with him when he crossed the finish line after an eight month battle with brain cancer.

Jim had a long career as an investigator with various agencies of the State of Texas, in Austin. Jim and his wife, Judy had just celebrated their 35th wedding anniversary on March 12th.

He is survived by his wife, Judy; his mother, Juanita Curtis; his brother, Michael R. Curtis; his two daughters: Michelle Gates and Lexi Curtis; step-daughter, Jan Lockhart and husband Mark; step-son, Chris Carter; step-son, Craig Carter and wife Anne; niece, Nicole Curtis; fifteen grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Jim loved life and was dedicated to his family.

Jimmy was in death by his father, James R. Curtis.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hill Country Bible Church, Georgetown or to a charity of your choice.

A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 25, 2017 at Hill Country Hill Bible Church, Georgetown. 600 County Road 151, Georgetown, Texas 78626.
