Mrs. Christine Armstrong Walters, age 76, passed away November 16, 2016 in Memphis. She was born July 6, 1940 in Cape Girardeau, MO to the late Ezra Earl Armstrong and Essie Mae Dolby Gove. She was a retired air freight agent Survivors include her husband, Mr. Lynn Newton Walters; her son, Richard Lee Vickery; two daughters, Tamara Bush (Robert) and Denise Houghkirk (Bret); and four grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Donald Ray Armstrong and Larry Gene Armstrong and one sister, Shirley Montgomery The family chose cremation. Pafford Funeral Home of Lexington is in charge of arrangements.
