Caroline Rosenberg and her husband, Abraham Rosenberg, were interred at the original Adath Israel Cemetery, known as the "Hebrew Cemetery," which was the first Jewish cemetery in Kentucky. The cemetery was located at the southwest corner of Preston and Woodbine Streets, but in 1955, "that site was preempted for the right-of-way of Interstate 65 and the graves were moved to Adath Israel Cemetery."
