Beatrice Sue Adkins Williams, 81, of Madison, NC, died Monday, January 1, 2007, at Morehead Hospital. She was born August 13, 1925, in Rockingham County, NC, to the late McKinley Adkins and Sally Atkins Adkins. She was retired from Bassett-Walker Industries and worked for Rockingham County Council on Aging as a caregiver. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Williams; brothers, William, Gilmer, Richard and Lawrence Adkins; sisters, Fannie Rierson and Margaret Adkins. Survivors include daughters, Carolyn Williams Hatcher, Brona Collins and husband, Wilson, both of Madison, Wanda Bray and husband, Larry, of Ridgeway, Virginia; brother, Donald Adkins of Long Beach; sisters, Laazora Coleman and husband, Tim, of Stoneville, NC, and Barbara Joyce Pryor of Reidsville, NC; 12 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
