Donald Wesley Adkins, 70, of Bolivia passed away Friday, October 21, 2016 at Universal Healthcare of Brunswick in Bolivia.

Mr. Adkins was born October 30, 1945, son of the late McKinley and Carrie Ore Adkins. He worked for CP&L Nuclear Plant for fifteen years. Mr. Adkins was an avid Carolina Tarheel fan and loved anything "Carolina" blue and white. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather and will be greatly missed. Preceding him in death was his wife of fifteen years, Eulalia Adkins, six brothers and four sisters.

Leaving to cherish his memory are his children, Kenneth Adkins and wife Tommie of Bolivia, Edward Keith Adkins and wife Michelle of Supply, Rocky McCormick and wife Nikki of Walnut Cove, Tommy Hall of Boiling Spring Lakes, Garry Hall and wife Leah of Boiling Spring Lakes, and Tonya Dreyer of Boiling Spring Lakes; two sisters, Barbara Pryor of Mayodan and Laazora Coleman and husband Tim of Stoneville; twenty-one grandchildren; and one great grandchild.

A graveside service will be two o'clock Wednesday, October 26, 2016 at Cape Fear Memorial Park in Southport.
