Age 76. Passed away Oct. 27, 1965 at her home. Mrs. Bittorf was born in Racine on May 8, 1889 and had been a lifetime resident. She was a member of the First Methodist Church and the Golden Sunshine Club. Surviving are one son and daughter-in-law, William and Virginia Bittorf of Racine; one daughter and son-in-law, Mrs. Marilyn and Herbert Kappel, Racine; six grandchildren, Susan, Steven and William Guy Bittorf, Don, Nancy and Janet Kappel, all of Racine; one sister, Mrs. Alvin (Mary) Johnson, California; also nieces and nephews. Her husband, William Henry Bittorf, preceded her in death on Sept. 10, 1951. Funeral services will be held Saturday, 10 a.m., in the Hanson Funeral Home, Dr. Clarence Seidenspinner officiating. Interment will be in Mound Cemetery. Friends may call at the HANSON FUNERAL HOME, 722 Lafayette Ave., Friday afternoon after 4 oclock and during the evening.
