Joseph L. Keen, son of Bud and Fannie Smith Keen, was born February 17, 1894 in Lebanon, Missouri and passed away September 1, 1968.
October 26, 1929 he was united in marriage with Otah Hemphill. His wife and two children preceded him in death.
In January of 1963, he was united in marriage with Cora Massey who survives.
A number of years ago he professed faith in Christ and at the time of his death was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Lebanon.
Most of his life was spent in and around Lebanon.
He is survived by his wife, Cora of the home; five sons; Raymond, Bill, Marvin and Ervin all of Lebanon and Robert of Falls City, Nebraska; three daughters, Mrs. Marie Jolliffe, Riverside, California; Mrs. Tina Cooper living in Germany and Mrs. Nellie Shaffer, Collinsville, Oklahoma and 20 grandchildren.
Also surviving are four stepsons, Ezra and Chester Massey, both living in Iowa; Junior Massey, St. Louis and Charlie, living in the state of Mo.; five stepdaughters, Mrs. Lenna Piercy, Mrs. Lilly Piercy and Mrs. Louise Dibbens all of Lebanon; Mrs. Delores Clapp, Chesterfield, Mo., and Mrs. Frances Lewis, St. Louis; also a number of other relatives and friends.
