BAUER, Raymond C. age 84 of Centerville, Ohio passed away peacefully Wednesday, March 15, 2017 at Kettering Hospital. He was born in Hamilton, Ohio on June 11, 1932 the son of Carl E and Rose Marie (Schuck) Bauer. Ray proudly served in the US Navy aboard the U.S.S. Minotaur from 1951-1954. He was a surveyor and excavator by trade and retired from AJ Stapleton Excavators, Centerville Ohio.

Survivors include five children, Sharon (Robert) Bias, Kimberly Herberth (Mark Tipton), Tamara (Robert) Harrison, Theresa Studer and Brian Bauer as well as eight grandchildren (Evan, Nicholas and Benjamin Herberth, Katherine Harrison, Megan Bias, Amanda Studer and Kristina and Zachary Bauer).

Funeral services will be private at his request at Zettler Funeral Home, 2646 Pleasant Ave followed by burial in St. Mary Cemetery. Online register book available at zettlerfuneralhome.com. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Heart Association or Quaker Heights Care Community, Waynesville, Ohio.
