Early Life: Anita was born August 10, 1955, in Mesa, Arizona, to Lloyd Olen Malone and Elaine Gardner Malone, the middle of their nine children. She graduated from Westwood High School.
Life's Work/Service/Interests: Anita attended Mesa Community College and Brigham Young University. At BYU, she would meet the love of her life, Ronald Lowell Keller. They were married in the Mesa Arizona LDS Temple on June 22, 1976. Anita held many positions over the years including employment and church service callings, but will be remembered most for her 30+ years of service to the Boy Scouts of America. She served her country in 1993 by participating in a USO tour in Europe and the Middle East. Going back to school, Anita received her BA degree. She loved: her “Tinkerdos,” time with friends, the US Pacific Northwest, reading, movies, plays, and most of all, her grandchildren. Anita Sue Malone Keller passed peacefully from this world, of natural causes, on March 13, 2017, at her home in Provo, Utah.
Survived By: Her husband, Ronald; her mother, Elaine Malone; children: Brad J. Keller (Wendy), Kari A. Wilkins (Tim), Scott J. Keller, McKenzie Dickson (David), Whitney E. Arave (Roger); 12 grandchildren; and her siblings: Lloyd, Kathy, Scott, Carol, Susan, Elizabeth, Dave and Rusty.
Preceded In Death By: She is now dancing with her father, Lloyd Malone; and enjoying the one on one time with her “Daddy.”
