The husband of Mary Ann Miller, the daughter of Hans Michael Miller. He was the son of John (Johann Steiner) Stoner and his wife Catren Brenneman.

Abraham Stoner Sr., resided along the Red Run, near the point where that stream feeds the East Branch of the Antietam creek, at the former Fairview, or Cress, station.

Pvt., 1st Bat., 1st Cumberland Co., Militia under Capt. Daniel Clapsaddle, Revolutionary War.


Children: David Stoner, married Mary Mack; Catharine Stoner, married Daniel Royer; Elizabeth Stoner, married Jacob Snively; Michael Stoner, married Elizabeth Snively; John Stoner, Rebecca Stoner, died unmarried; Susannah Stoner, died unmarried and Abraham Stoner Jr. married Susannah Benedict.
