Jack W. Cable, age 69, of Marion, N.C. died on Wednesday, April 5, 2000 at Memorial Mission Hospital.
Born in Raleigh, NC to the late John Francis Cable and Velva Farley Cable.
He was a retired truck driver and a veteran of the U S Army having served during the Korean War and a member of Glenwood Independent Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Billie Harrill Cable of the home; two daughters, Teresa Arrowood of the home and Lois Montgomery of Lincolnton, NC; four sisters, Effie Peterson, Faye Wilson, Bonnie Arrowood and Shelby Jean Arrowood all of Marion; two grandsons, Carl Lee Kirby and Christopher Montgomery.
The funeral service was held at Glenwood Independent Baptist Church on Saturday, April 8, 2000 at 10:00 a.m. Rev. Larry Gentry officiated and burial followed in Glenwood Independent Baptist Church Cemetery.
