She resided in Mount Holly. She was a member of the Gastonia Chapter #955 United Daughters of the Confederacy, the Major William Chronicle Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution and the Catawba Valley Chapter of the Colonial Dames XVII Century.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 38 years Rickey S. Wilson, sister in law Pat Rhodes Taylor of Stanley, her nephew Luke Taylor of Stanley. Also several aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother James Larry Taylor, and a sister Pat Taylor Lanier.
