Their mother died in 1973. He later married, in 1965, second, Helene Mae Pierce in Wauwatosa,Wisconsin. With this marraige he gained a step sister Kari, and a step-brother Larry.
Mike was very giving, with many hours given to helping others who were in need of repairs or assistance in many ways.
He loved fishing and hunting, and often had travelled up north for these pursuits.
He is missed by his brother, step brother and step sister and his step nephews Eric and Andy.
