He married second, Helene Mae (Vaubel) Pierce. They had a wonderful "2nd" life together, full of laughter and friends, trips and gatherings. They had many friends from the choir of the church .
She had two children Karen "Kari" and Larry by her first husband, and three grandsons -Eric, Andy and Kris. Kris always loved the magic tricks that "Grandpa Dick" did for him.
