Mr. Perlie Leon Hastings, 91, died Tuesday, April 15, 2003, at home.
Born Oct. 31, 1911, in Rutherford County, he was a son of the late Joseph Monroe Hastings Sr. and Cora Ramsey Hastings.
He retired as supervisor from Cleveland County Schools Maintenance Department. He was a member of Polkville United Methodist Church and Adult Bible Sunday school class.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by five brothers, Everett Hastings, Emerson Hastings, Colin Hastings, Matt Hastings and Joseph M. Hastings Jr.
Burial will be in Clover Hill United Methodist Church Cemetery.
