WILLIAM BAKER

William Baker, 82, a retired employee of the Furnas Ice Cream Co and a resident of Fort Wayne for the last lear and a half, died at 10:30 pm yesterday at Parkview Memorial Hospital where he had been a patient for three weeks.
Mr Baker, a member of the Eveangelical United Brethren Church in Albion, had resided in Fort Wayne a total of 40 years. Before his last residence here, he resided with a son in Churubusco
Surviving are three sons, Clyde A of Fort Wayne, with whom he had been residing; James A of Churubusco and Roy E Baker of Geneva; three daughters, Mrs Flossie Conrad, Albion, Mrs Ray Hamilton and Mrs William Didier of Fort Wayne; 20 grand children, 27 great-grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren; a brother, Scott Baker of Coldwater, Fla and three sisters, Mrs Emily Rittenhouse of Waverly, Ohio, Mrs Irene Monroe of Troy, Ohio and Mrs Vada Walls of Springfield, Ohio.
Mr Baker was a member of the Odd Fellows Lodge at Churubusco. Friends may call at the Krider Funeral Home, Churubusco, after 7 pm today. Services will be conducted there at 2 pm Friday, the Rev James Hook, Pastor of the Churubusco EUB Church officiating. Burial will be in the Eel River Cemetery near Churubusco.
