Mrs. O. C. Ullery
Mrs. Ella Bertha Ullery, 82, of 40 Pennsylvania
Avenue, died last night in Memorial Hospital.
Born in Slanesville, W.Va., April 17, 1894, she
was the daughter of the late William Judson
Smoot and Sarena Mae (Fultz) Smoot. Her
husband, Ocie C. Ullery, preceded her in death.
Mrs. Ullery was a retired employee of Celanese
Fibers Company and a member of First
Brethren Church.
Surviving are three sons, Blair E. Ullery,
Eugene A. Ullery and Wallace G. Ullery,
all of this city; five daughters, Mrs.
Odessa Ashenfelter, Mrs. Ina Parker,
Mrs. Mae Elizabeth Campbell, Mrs. Helen
Eror, Mrs. Kathryn Abe, all of this city; three
sisters: Mrs. Jessie (Vatie) Smoot and Mrs.
Curtis (Goldie) Swisher, both of Romney;
Mrs. Charles (Glenna) Bell, Baltimore;
26 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren.
Friends will be received at the Scarpelli
Funeral Home today from 7 to 9 p.m. and
tomorrow 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.

Services for Mrs. Ella Bertha Ullery, 82,
40 Pennsylvania Avenue, who died Thursday,
will be conducted tomorrow at 3 p.m. in
Livingstone Church of the Brethren by the
Rev. Fenton Platter. Interment will be in
Hillcrest Cemetery.
The body will be taken to the church at
1p.m. tomorrow.
Pallbearers will be Grant Abe, Wayne Campbell,
Timothy Parker, Craig Ullery, Allen Ullery, and
Charles R. Parker.
The honorary pallbearers will be Bryon Abe,
Jack Parker, and Gary Ullery. All of the
pallbearers are grandsons of the deceased.
