Mr. Abbott had left his home at 725 Eighth St. East in Kalispell late Sunday morning and had been fishing alone at Lake of the Woods until late Sunday afternoon when a party of Kalispell people invited him to join them for supper near the lake.
In the party were Mr. and Mrs. Merle Worden, Judge and Mrs. Dean King, Mr. and Mrs. Irving Jenks, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Kramer, and Mrs. Elsie Flynn.

BORN IN ANACONDA
After supper Mr. Abbott went fishing with Judge King and Worden. They returned about 8 p.m. and Mr. Abbott loaded his motor into his car. Just after loading his motor into the car, one of the women in the party saw him fall over backwards. He died within a few minutes.
Mr. Abbott was born in Anaconda Aug. 15, 1904, to Robert B. and Winnie Chamberlain Abbott. He had lived in Montana his entire lifetime.
In 1929 he married Marian Fitzpatrick in Butte. They moved to Kalispell from Great Falls in 1946 when he became associated with the Glacier Realty Co.
He was a member of the Kalispell Lodge No. 725, B.P.O.E., and the Kalispell Lions Club.

FUNERAL TODAY
He is survived by his wife Marian, two sons, Robert B. and James, all of Kalispell; a sister, Mrs. Isabel Wilcox, a nephew Ben Wilcox, and an aunt, Miss Hattie Chamberlain, all of Anaconda.
Friends were to meet at the Johnson Funeral Home chapel this afternoon at 4 o'clock, proceeding to the Conrad Memorial Cemetery where graveside rites were to be conducted by the Rev. W. P. Griffiths, rector of Christ's Episcopal Church.
A memorial service will be conducted in the church Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock.
