Biographical Information:

Mary Margaret was the fourth of six known children born to Cecilia Eugenia Hernandez and Adolfo L. Carrillo de Albornoz. Adolfo (born 14 Mar. 1841 in Havana) was the son of Francisca Hernandez y Aloy and José Manuel Carrillo de Albornoz y Arango (born 1810 in Havana) and grandson of Manuela Arango y Nuñez del Castillo and José Manuel Carrillo de Albornoz y Arenales (born 19 Jan. 1772 in Havana). Mary's maternal grandparents were Margaret Cecilia Harrison and Carlos Fabian Hernandez.

The Carrillo family was recorded as residing in Ramapo, Rockland County, New York, in the U.S. Census of 1870:

By the time of the N.Y. State Census of 1892, Mary's Uncle Charles Hernandez, age 42, was living with the family. Rosa is recorded as Rosetta.

According to the N.Y. State Census of 1905, the members of the family living on River Road in Grand View on Hudson, Rockland County, New York, were:

Genevieve F 25 Daughter

The 1920 U.S. Census recorded Nina (Rosa) as Head, age 58 with sister, Geneive, age 42. 'Uncle Charlie' Hernandez, an artist, age 60, was also still living with his nieces. He was actually over 70!

Mary died in infancy due to fatal injuries suffered in an accident involving the family's horse drawn carriage. Her sister, Maud, was buried at Rockland Cemetery. Her sister, Genevieve, and her brother, Arthur, were buried at Oak Hill Cemetery. The graves of Agnes Cecilia, died (6?) June 1878, and Rosa have not been located.
